    • Under 18: Take the Impact Texas Teen Drivers (ITTD) course

Both are required by DPS and can be found at: https://impacttexasdrivers.dps.texas.gov/

✔️ Free 1-hour course (choose ITTD if under 18, or ITAD if 18+)

✔️ Certificate emailed immediately after completion

❌ You cannot go straight to the test after this course

You must first take your Impact Certificate and other required documents to the DPS office to get your Learner’s Permit.
